I think you’re “leaning” in the right direction, your husband will always need to be your best friend. But I know the pain of not having any where I live (or any at church to have that conversation about friends…)

It does make it difficult to feel tied to your city. I end up meeting people as I have learned to venture out alone… and maybe that’s what I was supposed to be learning…to make friends too ; )

My husband is my best friend and many times I have felt that aside from him I didn’t have anyone else I would call my best friend.
